Rain has always been meditative to me and a source of respite. This piece for intermediate-level solo piano is the first in a series of works that attempt to musically-embody rain by considering different characteristics of it, or ways that we can experience it. This work is divided into three short movements: I. Shimmering, II. Dancing, and III. Thundering.
